Kehlani Flips Classic Akon Track For Her Single ‘Undercover’

Kehlani’s debut album SweetSexySavage is due out January 27th, but today she released her fifth single off the album titled “Undercover.”

Kehlani takes an upbeat approach with this track (produced by Charlie Heat) and harmonizes amazingly as she sings about loving somebody one way or another. The first verse to “Undercover” sees a flipped version of Akon’s 2007 hit “Don’t Matter.

You know they don’t wanna see us together
But it don’t matter, no, ’cause I got you
Anytime you’re under the weather
Babe we can always go
If I gotta pull up on you, on the east side
In the late night, in a disguise
You know I could pull up on you, keep you all night
We could stay right, on the safe side

Check out the track above and make sure to get Kehlani’s debut album SweetSexySavage releasing January 27th.
